Rooted in language acquisition and applied in media communication, t

he curriculum of the department is aimed at cultivating students’ cultural

knowledge and communication skills. Under the structure of a diversified

but specialized curriculum, students are required to take the foundational

classes for Taiwan language acquisition and communication skills at the first

and second years. Starting from the third year, students can focus on their

interests on either Taiwan languages or media communication.

With the purpose of spreading Taiwan culture to the world, the curriculum

also includes “English Journalism” and “English Speaking Ability”, etc., in

order to promote students’ English ability.
